Should be pretty soon .. ?!
9210i - anyone ?
Ive got mine 4 weeks ago... Its for sale since 1 week in sweden...
Is it worth upgrading from a 9210?
for me, it's worth it -- system stability and execution is much better. if you are contended with the performance of your 9210, maybe it's not worth upgrading.
ver 5.33 here.

Yes it is worth upgrading, who wants a OLD PHONE?
NOT MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Hmmm, I have a 9210 since January, do I want a 9210i that bad, or shall I save my pennies for the 7650 (or P800) and couple that with my 9210 for GPRS?
7650 will a cool secondary phone to 9210. i upgraded to 9210i because my 9210 got a crack on the hinge part and its been bothering the screen output for quite sometime now.
there's not quite a difference except that 9210i shows better stability and performance. (and if you don't have emessaging or celesta -- you can now receive picture messages and forward them!)
i wonder whether 9210i solves the NOT ENOUGH MEMORY problem when we try to open certain applications or serve some wep sites? anyone who tried it please advise.
I am waiting for someone owning the new 9210i to tell us if the improvement in memories has really solved the lack of memory when wb browsing or opening big applications.
Many thanks for any inputs, I would like to shift from a Psion 5mx to the 9210i but I am scared (expecially) about the memory lack..
cheers to all
I think so. However its not officially availible in the UK yet (Despite there being adverts for it in the Telegraph each day). A couple of Scandanavian users say they have got one and do not have memory problems. Also early 9290 users have not reported problems.
is 9210i available in hongkong or singapore?
What I want to know is does the 9210i play video any better than the 9210. Can it handle more frames etc. Is it possible to copy the Opera web browser out of it to use on the 9210?
physically 9210 and 9210i has the same execution memory -- the difference is the handling of memory which 9210i has done better. (based on my experience)

With the 9210i out, I wonder whether Nokia will still continue supporting the 9210 with software upgrades. Somehow, I get the feeling that 9210 users will be ditched.
Anyone else think the same?
9210i will be out in Singapore end June or early July........and I get the feeling that 9210 users will be left out. Hope they'll do a trade in.
For those of you with the 9210i - when you invoke the z-drive, can you see where opera is installed and the associated system files?
Has anybody tried copying files from z-drive to c- or d-
Just a thot
It would seem to me that the 9210 was released too early. I got mine in Aug last year and have been amazed at the level of support, from Nokia, for their whole range except the 9210. Try finding info or help on club Nokia (or similar) there is not a single mention of any problem with the OS on the 9210, let alone any offer of assistance, but less that twelve months later they release the 9210i (with much more advertising coverage than the 9210 got!!), and they have alledgedly solved the problems which never seemed to exist. The applications that Nokia themselves provided had huge flaws in them, and why have a video player/music player etc. if there is not enough memory to open a small movie? Did the advertising on your packaging mention re-booting every day or two to free up memory? Did it mention that inside the box was a prototype 9210i, for testing purposes only until the system worked properly? Did Nokia contact anyone to offer them assistance with the known problems on their equipment?
It seems that nokia are missing one huge point here, the 9210 was advertised as the office in your pocket. Are they suggesting that i should happily do without my entire office for a week every couple of months while i update the software..
With sales figures reached and breached the after sales service of Nokia seems to be a bit thin. With the looming giant that is micro$oft getting ready to take over, i see a lot of interested people seeing how many faults have been caused on the Nokia and steering over the other side.
If Nokia offer me an upgrade i may be swayed, but to be honest i'm not sure if i can be bothered. I've been a Nokia user for eight years nearly, but they've gone too far this time and i need convincing that they have an interest in their customers, not just the sales targets.
P.S. When it's working it's the dogs doodahs (fantastic!!) but whenever i need to use it it seems to complain like a schoolie with homework.
