Problem Infrared - Help

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the infrared connectivity.
When i activate the IR on the phone and put it next to my laptop, nothing happens anymore... It did work perfect previously. Something broken in the phone?

Anyone having the same problem?

I had IR Remote on my phone, but the IR still functioned correctly when connecting to my pc.

It suddenly died. Then i removed all potential software. Still no connection.
And what's strange is that, if i place the phone in front of the IR of the computer, and activate the IR. THe computer detects the phone, but it doesn't connect. (i have the same symptoms on other laptops)

Any1 an idea?

I've tested to transfer files using Windows XP's Send File and that works (if i force it a bit (retry, retry, ..). But no connection can be made to the Nokia PC Suite. It appears that the connection does not want to bind, since the nokia phone is stopping the infrared connection if there's no activity.... which should not happen when bounded to the Nokia PC Suite software

Any ideas?

if mRouter is the program regulating the connection on the PC (the symbol in the systemtray), then i can tell you the following:
if i switch on the IR on the phone, the icon lits up and shows that the Nokia 3650 is connected. After 1 or 2 secs in disappears and reappears. It's like having a bad connection. And after about 1 min, the phone stops transmitting, and than it's finished.
When the symbol appears, i can send files. HOWEVER the PC suite never detects the phone....

I think the IR in the phone is broken... or maybe i should try a hard reset on the phone???? i dunno...
