installed the latest 3650 video app from the Nokia site. when i select "video recorder" as the left selection key in settings, it loads the sound recorder prog instead.
anyone else noticed this?

I wish more Nokia programs supported the "Add to Favorites" option because it really pisses me off when nothing will add to it.. I can't add CREATE SMS to it which really bugs me.

From the Favorites, I just use the Notepad to compose the message then after composing there will be additional option 😊 Send as text, mms, email, bluetooth or infrared.

good idea! i didn't realise i could add Notes to favorites.

i just realised that as well.. but my use of favorites is limited to ir remote and inbox 😊

This is a recognized bug in the firmware.
As an alternative, just press "Menu,9" when in standby mode (assuming that you haven't rearranged your apps in the menu).

I read your signature and i agree to that. I was shopping for a phone for about a week when i stumbled on a 3650. I thought i'd never buy such a weird looking phone. But alas, the following day, i bought it. I love the features. Got everything that i want.
About the remote control thing, it's funny because no one mentioned it to me before neither read it somewhere. Just now, on your signature. But as i was watching a DVD last night, when the remote control was placed side by side with my phone, i noticed a resemblance. I hated it but it was there. Well, just sharing. I hate the thought too!

where do you download the latest video recording prog.?
Nokia support web site has it here I downloaded it this afternoon for the phone I don't even have yet! (Tues hopfully!!)
An asside to all this how do you get find out what firmware version you are using.
