I have just bought a p800 off of ebay.It is an orange phone but it has been unlocked (supposedly). The problem is that when i use my orange 'pay as you talk sim' it does not recieve a signal and i can't send or recieve calls.I have tried an 02 and vodaphone sim and they recieve signals but again cant make or recieve calls.
Have i bought a stolen phone or not?Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, and if it makes a difference the pda side works fine with these sims.

I'd probably say you have....to check you could ring Orange and ask them...or use the Stolen Phone database on the net :-?

Orange couldn't tell me if the phone was lost or stolen but they did say it was locked by the user and only they could unlock it.
The guy i bought it from gave me a full refund and i've sent the phone back to him.He had recieved the phone from somebody else and now has to do all the chasing :agrue:

Now i have to go on the search again for a nice shiny new P800 :x
