Ok ok, I know they aren't that great but I still wanted some to bugger about with. Unfortunately after downloading the midlet software and installing it when ever I try to run it I get "Invalid Request". Anyone got a clue why I'd be getting this?
Midlets on the 9210
Yep, i've been getting that a lot too. I depens on the Mildet. Some work, some don't.

It's not the Midlet's that's the problem, it's the app that you run the Midlets in. As for the search function I didn't find anything that solved the problem.

Definately but it seems that 9210 users aren't cared about enough to warrant technology that even the cheap kiddie phones have.

Midp should work on every midp runtime still when I try Splintercell or Siberian Strike they fail ... class fullcanvas or something not found.
I never had any problems with the midp runtime btw ...
I think MIDP is showing what happens when you have a standard environment and then let everyone modify it to suit their needs.
i have problems with mild too;

Guessing this is a class only available in the Series 60 :s so much for supporting all platforms
After my format i am having trouble with MIDP application now, as soon as i start it up i get the message "No suite installed" and if i try to install tipicme i get an invalid file response...I am sure it is switch's fault some how as it worked fine before i formatted...
Ok my MIDP suite now works and all is well on that side of things, but i am still unable to get TipicMe to work, it will install and then attempt to run but does not get any further then that...it will keep trying to run ie the cirlce that go round and round to indicate the device is busy. Any ideas guys?
try going to forum index multimedia and try to go to the forum title MSN MESSENGER and they have the soultion there to make TIPICME workin 😊
