JPW, is actually probably better to order from the US, since, for some reason $1 = �1 when buying hardware.
If they won't ship to the UK, then I'm sure a deal could be struck with some kind American soul on this forum to receive and forward the package.
Those US sites that do ship to the UK seem to want an arm and a leg to do so. One site (cant remember which one right now) wanted around �70 for the duo (reasonable), but wanted about �60 to ship :evil: .
OK i thought as I want about 5 of them, but they wanted that much to ship each item 😮 . How can they possibly charge so much to ship such a small item.
What used to work was to cite my [London] address, complete with postcode, but put the country as Canada (who have a similar code system). The package would arrive in Quebec (or wherever) and some helpful Canadian would say [fx: French Canadian Accent] "ah, zees Americans, no sense of hoomor, so sense of direxion" and promptly ship it on to the UK for me. Free of charge.
