How do I remove "VSTREAM" on my display?

Hi, I have recently purchased P800 phone.
So far, I like it a lot, but is only one thing that I really want to know.
When flip is closed, I see this ugly "VSTREAM" on the screen.
Since I saw this on the other phone when I use the same SIM card, I believe it is something that has been written on the SIM card.
My sim card is from old VoiceStream.
When I used Nokia 8890, I could remove it with the Nokia LogoManager, but for P800, I had no luck removing it on the screen.

I attached the screenshot of it.

If anyone has any idea how to remove it, please teach me how.

Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry, but I think that's impossible. You can put an entirely black background on your phone, that way you won't see it at all 😉 😃

This is the subscribed network name, generally you would want this to know if you are paying ROAMing charges. Come to the UK and it will say 'UK Vodafone' at you (unless you choose another network here).

Dead handy when you are somewhere like Latvia, where 'LT GSM' is good but 'BeeLine' is really, really bad!

Only way to turn it off is to disconnect from a network!

Don't say impossible, the whole point of removing the operator logo is so it would not block my coloured background.

Actually -- isn't there something in File Manager 1.8 that mentions Operator Logos? Haven't looked at it in depth -- anyone?
