Hmmm... u need to show them just warranty card and in some cases... the receipt. but normally even if your phone have warranty, the warranty will not be valid in other countries... so maybe u'll be charged for the upgrade...

I just got a reply and talked to SE in the US and they said they are not and will not be doing any firmware upgrades.

lm getting lag when l switch to night mode, anyone else getting this?
Yes, I get lag (in the viewfinder when I switch to nightmode). This is because of the way the night mode enhancement is done (increases the exposure, I guess) - I get the same thing on my �500 Sony CyberShot as well, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
with the new video size, 320 -208, can you still view 160-120 in the same quality as r1d, nad is it only choppy in full 320-208??
or is it under a totally different icon??

I just talked to a SE rep here in the US, and they said the reason why they arn't doing firmware upgrades yet is because there isn't one available for the US. But the rep told me they are working on one and to check back in a month.

I'm not sure if you followed on this, but I had a thread started about the US SE center. I got my upgrade from them in the month of April. I took less then 1 week before I got it back. So the information you got was incorrect. Again there should be at least 3 threads pertaining the misinformation that the SE centers provide. Oh, did I mention that they were Morons?
Also, any hardware issues like echo in a headset is not a general problem. I have tested my P800 with an HBH-15, HBH-30, and HBH-60 and never got an echo
Ahhhh.....The battery life has all gone!
Go my phone upgraded on Thursday and it spend most of Friday in the cradle.
Today I undocked it at 9am and by 4pm it was 37% charged, I only made 4 calls of about 5 mins each and never used anything other than the camera once.....
