I've been nagging to developers for ages trying to get them to port Lemmings or Sim City without realising that we could already play them!!!
Was surfing along and found my way to the wildpalm.co.uk again.
while I've saw the Sinclair emulator before I was turned down by the few screenshots found on the site. That was of course that I spotted the name Sim City in 1 of there screenshots!
Me went surfing again, downloaded emulator, downloaded Sim City rom and Lemmings rom and nostalgic graphics filled my 9210 😃
Sim City is the easiest to get going, copy the z80 file to the zxgames folder and start the emulator.
Select open from the menu, point to simcity file and press play.
Off you go 😃
Some pointers with SimCity:
Joystick mode should be Sinclair
CHR + 1-0 are quick selects for the building things. chr+1 is the bulldozer for instance
shift+ 5-8 are for scrolling through the map
ctrl or space are for selecting/building
arrowpad will move the pointer
You can't use the simcity save option but by pressing MENU (CBA4) you can save your game as a z80 file which is just as good.
If playing Lemmings use J chr-p chr-p to start the game.
Joystick has to be set to Sinclair.
