any help is greatly appriciated
Go to Settings... Phone.... Standby mode...
Then go to Background image, select Yes.. After that it will prompt U where to Insert the Image from:->> Phone Memory or Memory Card.
Choose whatever image U have stored.
Hope it helps.

and erm.... i dont think u can make it full screen...
okie, now i know how to set my background picture...but, how do i get my original CINGULAR(logo that comes with cingular phones)?!? I can't find any settings to get it back. Thanks in advance....
You'll have to find the image on the phone.. I'm guessing though you'll need to use a File Manager such as FExplorer from Domi (www.mysymbian.com) to look for it and then move it into the IMAGEs folder. I personally created a folder on MMC called "Wallpapers" and put all my pictures and the default ones there. You need to 'explore'.. Look all over your phone. I got my phone outright and it was flashed to English so I don't have any operator-specific stuff but I have the default Nokia graphics; like that night picture with the swirly stuff.. Is that what you are referring to? I'll attach it here if you want to send it to your phone.
no...that's not the one. the 1 that i'm talking about is that cingular logo...the 1 that looks like an X. I installed the file manager and actually found the logo at: z:\nokia\images\pictures\ and the name of the file is called "default.mbm"....but when i clicked the option it doesn't give me the option to "move" it to anywhere (i have FExplorer). Also, when i try to send the picture through bluetooth i either get "sending failed" or "the bluetooth connection has already been maxed out" message. can any1 help? thanks in advance.....
try copying the image to C: or E: and then see what happens. Move doesn't always work since Z:\ is write protected.
hmm....so how do i copy the image from z:\ to C: or E:??? sorry, i'm a new 3650 user......thanks in advance
Sorry if I sound really slow and stuff but I'll try to explain as easy as i can;
1. Open FileExplorer
2. Locate the file you want to copy (using the LEFT/RIGHT keys to find the folder)
3. Press LEFT SOFTKEY then scroll to Edit and then press Copy
4. Now navigate using LEFT/RIGHT keys to where you want to put the file; say E:\ for example.
5. Then when you are in E:\ press LEFT SOFTKEY then Edit and then Paste. Try to put it in the images folder or your own backgrounds folder.
6. Then go into Settings and select the picture.
