want to open DialogBox as application click on extra bar

Hi,

I want to open Dialog Box as I clicked the application on Extrabar. I can open Dialog box through Menu ar toolbar but when I put same code in appui constructor, there is no dialog box appeared on the screen.
in Second try
I have put same code in appview:😃raw function exception occured.

Please Suggest any possible solution.
