hi
if I bought a new 3650 would it have the sound add on to enable video with sound?
and is it possible to get opera/oplayer over gprs wap to download so you can browse the real internet on it?
has anyone browsed the real net on their 3650? does anyone post on here using it?

I have browsed the real internet on my 7650 with browser like Webviewer,Doris etc etc.
They also work on the 3650.
Haven't used opera.

Some new buyers said that their video recorder can record with audio .. maybe because they purchased the newer devices. Mine does not have audio when recording, just downloaded it from Nokia website to have the version of video recorder that will record sound.

If I'm not mistaken.. it was mentioned somewhere here that Opera is soon to be release.
Have not tried Oplayer. The 3650 will let you browse the internet even without Opera because it has xHTML browser.. but I'm sure with Opera minibrowser.. it'll be better :angel:

Sometimes I'm using the default browser of 3650 but I prefer Netfront browser :angel:

Over the air Oplayer can be gotten if you text the word 'funny' to 86069
UK only..

Don't know of any other WAP dowload.

I use webviewer for internet access - xhtml browser is to sloooooow

thats awesome, so xhtml enables webviewing? so on the browser instead of connecting to a wap site I can type say hotmail or google and it will work? I had a 3650 took it back dodgy imei from carphone warehouse just got my nec e606 on 3 but prob sendning it back thinking about going back to 3650.
Does the xhml work even over standard gprs settings?
also you say you downloaded the sound for the video from nokia was this over the air on the phone and was it free?
is it a software version say 2.50 that my 3650 had that enables sound of is it not the nokia software that is important?

i can browse the "real" internet with my 3650 (v2.5) using services. i can go to google and other sites.
I f i use webviewer will it be much faster?

I still have 2.50
Some reports 3.07 is out. You can call Nokia Center near your place and ask them what firmware they got :angel:

^ actually it shouldn't delete anything since our phones have dedicated "system software" sections.

but u should only go if u need it; ie. u hav problems.. i mean y fix it if it ain't broke? .. for example my services doesn't work, email doesn't work, and my vibrate doesn't work when in silent (useful huh?).. and a lot of system errors when sending sms's.
