Recording phone calls

Is there a way to record phone conversations? Voice memo doesn't work in a call.

As far as I know that is the reason it was left out, but seems a bit strange that the T68i can do it

...the R520m even had a special "voicememo"-button on the side, for quick access for recording during a phone-call. 😃

So it's strange that the P800 doesn't have it. Perhaps a third-party will provide us with such a program....

The 9110 Communicator had it, but they took it off the 9210. A third party company then released an extension that enabled it, so I would hope that someone would do the same for the P800 - it's so handy when you need to take down a number...

Even the 9210 has it, but it wasn't in a one click, but while u r talking you can go to the voice recorder and do it, I think it's soo stupid of SE not to have this option.

I would agree. This was an important feature for me since sometimes I do calls on the phone for customer service and record the conversations with the permission of the client.. Did that on the T68i..

I loved it on my T68; I'm often on the run, or a bus, or a train, and setting the speakerphone on so I can write thngs down is kind of intrusive to other people. I also seem to forget how to write correctly when I'm on the phone and i feel like I'm making the other party wait for me while i correct mistakes e.t.c. I used to be able to say "wait, give me the data again and I'll record it"
That smple
