Guys,
Please forgive an old man asking a dull question but I can't work this one out.
Tick boxes don't seem to do anything on my machine. If I see a tick box, I don't know how to toggle its value.
This is so embarrassing. Can anybody help me?

I'm assuming you mean on web pages in the web browser, otherwise you are freakign me out. You tried the space bar?
Yes, that's the kind of thing. SPacebar doesn't do anything but if I use a LCURSOR or RCURSOR, it flickers.
Is it a firmware thing? Anybody else got this? Maybe I need to reformat?

I think i have the same "problem?" on my vers. 3.54. If i try to change the value of a tickbox (in the preferance settings on most progs) it merely flickers, there is no visible change. But, i'm pretty sure the changes are taking effect, just that I can't see it.
When in the WWW app, you can use Ctrl-Q to give you a Arrow with which you can select things (like a Mouse) on pages and use Enter to select things like Tick Boxes, and Web Links, so you don't have to TAB down the whole page.

Yes, seems like checkbox doesn't work (doesn't draw tick only!) at firmware less than 3.54 (and some 3.54?)
You need to upgrade your firware or ask programmers to change checkboxs to choicelists with On, Off values in their progs..
