mp3 on 3650

you can delete the file.

i have uploaded both a mp3 short file and a wav file to a site and tried to download them from the 3650 by typing the whole url in but it doesnt work, any ideas?

1. You need exact URL (cAsE sensitive with http:// at start)
2. an Mp3 is very large and don't forget your charged by the KB with GPRS
3. You need an mp3 playback program on your phone to play it
4. Can't you transfer via IR/Bluetooth? Downloading off WAP is the most expensive way.
5. And no they can't be used as ringtones; BUT a WAVE file can.. And if you plan on using WAVE you can use the Nokia convertor which is automatic when you transfer files which are mp3 or wav to the phone it compresses them for you assuming you have it enabled and installed (free).

GPRS is still free on o2 prepay in the UK 😊
are there any good wap sites with wave tones? as I cannot get any wav files to download over air? even though everyone says its possible.

has anyone successfully uploaded a wav file to the net and downloaded it directly to their 3650? is there a limit on the file size etc?
i cant understand why it aint working 😞

i emailed an mp3 as an attachment and it worked.

think ive found why some work, they must be relatively small <300kb otherwise o2 wap wont allow downloads😞
