Watching the Baghdad camera brought me thinking. I know a lot webcams around my neighbourhood - one of the best on Helsinki may be this one http://virtual.finland.fi/finfo/english/webcam.html As I'm not living in the city exactly but in a close by location, this http://personal.inet.fi/perhe/luukko/pk/index_e.htm is closer to my home. Finns seem to be excited by the webcams, as you can follow even a bird nesting in a finnish cam (if anyone is interested... I mean really...) http://personal.inet.fi/perhe/luukko/pk/index_e.htm
So how about it? Is this just a finnish peculiarity or are there webcams on your neighbourhood? Please share 8)

I thought Jordan would be easy. I found this link with dozens of webcams around Nottinghamshire, but they seemed to be dead outside office hours. Monday to Saturday from 7 am, take your pick: http://www.marbellalife.com/webcams/united-kingdom/nottinghamshire.html 😃

I did some background research 😉 and found several interesting sites on you and by you 😉, but all I could find clearly mentioned was this one location in Ireland (you know what), and for that one I found no corresponding webcam 😃

Wow, sorry for the slow reply, i'm being selective these days about what threads I venture into :-?
I don't think you will find any webcams in my exact location, it's a small village with a population of less than 100 😃 , the nearest town has one in a PC shop overlooking the market place, it's called Retford, and the shop is called Softalk 😉...interested to see if you can find anymore 😃

This project is more difficult than I anticipated 😮 I tried to find web cams for GhostDog, from Skopje Macedonia, but so far no luck. I mean there are several links around but most of them end up in a 404. Two that did not, were this and this but they did not work either :cry: I don't understand the language so I don't now if they work during office hours or not.

His coordinates are Sussex and Cambridge. For Sussex I just can't help mentioning a site called AllAboutSussex Coincidence, eh? Anyway there is a webcam link to a place called Littlehampton (I don't know if it has anything to do with Rafe but it looks nice 😉 ).
For Cambridge you might want to take a look at this link Magnificent view over the University buildings. No crocus and daffodils visible at the moment, but green, very green.

This concludes the top ten posters' webcam search. Number 11 at the moment is TheSpecialBoy, who's from Bucharest. There are a couple of webcams behind this link on Romania and you can find a nice live view from the city (opens in Media Player for some reason).

The calendar says it's spring but the weather is nothing like it should be. It's been +7 degrees (yes, seven!) and raining all day here in my neighbourhood. This brought me to dream of warmer places and I remembered my webcam project 8) Since MemphisX and Samthesheepfan are from Thessaloniki, Greece, I searched for it and bingo: Here is the centre , here is the port (dark at night surprisingly) and here are some general views . I must say that the webcam idea is perhaps a bit misunderstood if the image is updated only once a day, but anyway 😉 It seems nice and warm and I wish it was the same here too :roll:
