Anyone using the Nokia 7650 with the iPAQ H3970?

I am thinking of selling my T68 and get a Nokia 7650 instead to use with my H3970.

Any comments?

Thanks.

I've still yet to find one SMS application for pocketpc that works with N7650, and not to mention MMS application on pocketpc. Let me know if you can find. Heard that mPhone 2.5 will support N7650. Still yet to see other features it will provide.

Just for you to think abt it.

Why not sell both, and buy a Nokia 9210, or a SonyEricsson P800.

Not sure what you would gain (except a camera) from having a 7650. T68 already has bluetooth doesn't it ?

I used to have the T68 with iPaq 3870 (bluetooth built-in). It was a dream to use both for web connection.

But I have always dreamt that my 3870 will have some sort of CF Digital Camera when I can take pictures when I wanted to (when I DON'T have my digital camera).

When 7650, I ditched the T68 primarily because of the digital camera. But after using the 7650 for a while, now I know why I loved it more than my T68: SPEED!

T68 is HELL SLOW, even entering text with T9 is so slow that characters are displayed about 0.5 seconds slower than my typing.

I think this is one good point about the 7650 compared to the T68.

If you don't mind carrying 2 devices to use the best functionality each was designed for (PDA is a PDA, Phone is a phone), then get the combo 7650 and 3870. Nokia is fine, but certainly not going to beat the combo.
PDA have GOOD hand writing software, Internet Explorer that supports WAP, SSL and Javascrip (3rd-party add-on, comes with the iPaq), MP3 and good size.

Of course, how you use your devices depends on you. I am a consultant and use the iPaq to configure routers, telnet, network testing, presentation (with Margi CF card) etc...etc...

Agreed to lanwarrior2000, if you mind the weight then carrying N7650 with iPAQ 3970 will be best of both world!

I am doing that! The reason is that you can do your notes taking using a PDA and trust me this is faster especially during meetings when one needs to take minutes. For N7650, I am using it on weekends and put my PDA aside, save me space in my bag. 😊 Plus I can still access my emails if there is a need!
