I'm using bluetooth to synch my 3650 w/ Outlook on my pc. Problem is, everything in Outlook on my pc has a remider attached to it (pop up) -- on the 3650 this turns into a LOUD BEEP that goes on for a minute and then repeats every 5 minutes until I physically press STOP. Does anyone know of a way to mute this feature without either changing every calendar item or turning the entire phone onto Silent ?? This is a pain b/c all my birthdays in Outlook are set to 12.01am - so the phone rings in the middle of the night.
Calendar Reminder Problem
Extended Profiles (by PsiNT) can control the alarm for calendars.
But birthdays should come up as 'memo' in the phone; and alarms can be set as 'do not synchronise'. Lots of little options you have to look for.
Thanks for the info. Couple of additional questions:
- How do you set the alarms as do no sync ? I cant find that option anywhere ?
- Downloaded Extended Profiles, but they don't have a Silent option for Alarms - just different choices of tones
- Lastly - is there a way to sync Tasks from the PC and be able to see the data within the task rather then just the Title, Date etc.
