Help transferring/sync files

I'm having trouble moving files from my PC to the P800. I just got the phone and love it, but struggling at the moment.

I was able get emame installed, and now need to get the ROMs over there. Howver, I can't use my usual method for moving files there... Windows explorer. It used to work fine, until I installed the filemanager program on the p800.

Can anyone help me out on what I'm doing wrong?

What exactly is happening, can you describe the steps you've taken. Coz, for me there's nothing wrong with using the standard windows explorer to move/copy/delete/rename files within my P800, even with the filemanager app installed in the P800.

In explorer, the P800 top level shows up. Then I expand that and the specific name of my P800 shows up "Bob's P800", but when I try expand that to show the folders "Documents", "Audio", "Video", "Other" or whatever, there is NOTHING there to expand. Right clicking on it shows that expand isn't even available. Its almost as if after I installed the filemanager on my P800 I can't use the explorer anymore, but there may be no connectoin at all either. I don't know.

This only happens to me when my phone is not successfully connected to my PC. BTW, how do you connect, is it via bluetooth, IrDa, or usb Cable?
