HI guys ! i have got a great collection of mp3 on my pc. The trouble is putting some of those in my 3650. The file size if 3 Mb. So .....???
I have tried downloading a file of 86 kb but my phone showed an error "Out of memory" , even though i have memory Card(16 mb).
Help me out . Thanks
downloading mp3 into 3650
what program u used for 'downloading' them in your phone? and are u sure u put the file on the memory card and not the phone ram?
also, pc suite convert the files to *.wav (so u can actually play them on your phone 😉 ), i know it sounds tricky but the files are getting smaller.
try sending it to the MMC~ also if u want to just listen (not necessarily use as a ringtone) then try sending it as a RM file (realaudio). get the free HELIX PRODUCER 9 (look in google or something).
if you're using bluetooth to transfer files, then files go directly to your inbox. and if you're not using the MMC for your messages, then it will run out of space really fast.
But if you're not, try converting the mp3's to wav to make the file smaller... coz mp3's can go from 3mb to 5mb or more.
i sugest using helix producer or somthing convert them and then send em i did tht i mean sound aint gr8 but the size almosts halves ....
GUYS!Just say, will(and when) it be a real, and normal working mp3 player for 3650.And when it will be,what will be the quality of the mp3s,and we will listen to mp3 by the Nokia HDD-1,as i now this handsfrre doesnt support stereo,YES,or NOT.
Hmm... Posting this twice! Read the answer in the thread you made.
do you mean i still need to convert the mp3's before i send them over to the phone. that's ridiculously a waste of time. Because size does not matter to me I could easily get a 256MB MMC to go with my 3650 but can I play raw mp3's from the mmc?
256mb card will strongly slow down your 3650.

Ok, but do I still need to convert each and every MP3 i want to load to my phone?
No man, why do that?
Get MP3 go and send the MP3 (raw) to your phone, play it over there. Simple as that. If you're confused about the phone memory and the MMC memory and the thing not sending and whatever:
From PC Suite, you can send directly to MMC. As for sending from the regular XP "transfer flies to wirless divice" window, you can just change the settings in your messaging, and put MMC card to use for memory.
I heard the 256 MMC card doesn't work with the 3650, i read it in this forum to be exact 😊 (search around in this 3650 forum..)
