Have any of you encountered this problem?
After a couple of successful message sent (like around 10 msgs), my phone starts to fool around. Meaning, it wouldn't send anymore SMS. It automatically fails & stays in outbox. A Note appears saying "Note-- Not enough memory.Close some applications & try again."
No matter how many times I try sending it, it just won't send. Sometimes I have to reboot it a couple of times before it would send. I even tried deleting files from Csystem/schedules just to clear it up, but w/ no, luck.
What's wrong w/ this damn thing anyway? Its just started 2 weeks ago. Help! Aaarghh....

I have a similar problem. My sms also all fail and just stay in the outbox. I don't get any "out of memory" messages or anything like that.

There seems to be a bug in the 9210 SMS Centre handling. You will always need to have the SMS Centre number defined with + [country code] [operator code] [service number]. So far so good. However, sometimes when receiving SMS from the same operator, the SMS Centre will 'magically' be reassigned to the same operator. In the process, unexplicably, the country code will be dropped, resulting in the 9210 being set to a not accepted SMS Centre number. Next time you want to send an SMS, in the edit screen, you will have to press the [Sending options] CBA and reassign the SMS centre back to the correct one.
This will hopefully solve the 'SMS stuck in outbox' problem, but I do not have a clue on the 'out of memory' problem.
hi guys, the case is a firmware bug on earlier versions, i guess.
anyway, i hope this helps -- if you have an old backup (via file manager \ backup to memory card). preferrably a copy of backup at the time you didn't encounter the problem...
try restoring the following files below
-smsegst.dat
-smseast.dat
-schedules.dat
Thanks for th replys. I did want you asked me, backing up the 3 files, but as usual.. it didn't do any good. This is getting to be very irritating. I haven't bee able to end a single SMS for the past 2days already. HELP! Any Forum elderly or Helpers out there. Help! EEP.
Still the problem is still w/ me. I cant seem to send any SMS. All of then are message sending fail and goes directly to my outbox. What seems to the problem? I sent it to our Nokia Care center but after Flashing the OS, the problem is still there. Duh....?
Check with your service provider that you are still allowed to send/receive sms messages. Maybe they turned that off by mistake. Or there are some other network related problem with your account.
