I heard rumors that there is a problem restoring the Phone after Software upgrat from R1* tom R2D. What i hear is that after restore the phone crash... And it must have a reset at dealer. You can't acces it.
Anyone had this problem? 😮
Upgrade Phone R2D ----> Restore problem?
When i restored my phone, all look ok. But when i look closer at the versions of the new update.. The CDA had changed back:
CDA CDA162001 R3A12 is now back to CDA CDA162001 R2A04
Sad, but I?ve ask my SE technician to send me a backup of a newly upgraded phone.. Guess that will fix it back. Well well, shit happens.. Lots of work lost on the phone. I hoped i could just change a file in backup.. Copy past and solve the problem..
Anyone know witch file is the CDA?
I restored the backup I made with 1.4.2 of the desktop software and everything is fine. All new functions working, all dial up and networking settings restored, all version numbers the new ones etc.

The reverting of the CDA version number when you restore an old backup on an upgraded phone seems to be a known feature. But I did this and it doesn't seem to break any of the new functionality or bug fixes, so why not live with it? I'd prefer that by a long way over losing what I had on the phone before.
