hi, i just got a bluetooth desktop set from microsoft today (very nice it is too).
i have connected the kb and mouse, and they are working on bluetooth.
the problem is, i dont seem to be able to interact with my nokia 7650 once i connect it to the bluetooth.
microsoft created a little icon in control panel (on xp), called "wireless link". In here i detected and added and even authenticated the phone. (typing a code in the phone that i set in the options to match what i put on pc)
Ok, its connected.. now what? i cannot seem to find a way to send the phone files, or interact with it at all! grr.
could anyone help or even have the same problem?
thanks,
michael
me again, reg'ed now.
"My Bluetooth places" is what i do not have.
i believe this fixes many connectivity problems/ miccrosoft state that the blue tooth widget thing (what do you call it? :P) can connect to up to 7 devices. and support other bluetooth devices (not just kb and mice)
this question has come up once or twice before reguarding the microsoft bluetooth widget.
:robot:
me again... answered my own q.
i can't. microsoft are planning to release a firmware update, i think, or software... dont know when. but then it should be a bit more functional 😛
Where did you get the microsoft bluetooth stuff from? Is it any good?
www.tekgeads.co.uk
cheapest i found. i love it. wont connect to other devices but... m'mmm.
classy and nice to use. even good for games, i always did use a low sensitivity 😛
Microsoft Bluetooth desktop does not support mobile phone connections yet. I have it and its great, but i have another USB bluetooth dongle for use of my fone.
Im waiting for a firmware update....
