send files through file manager

hey guys! need help on sending large files from my cellphone to another device using file manager... all i can do is beam it via infrared and is really slow tnx!

What is the other device?

Can you not email them, or copy them to the PC then send them from there?

pertaining to the 'topic' of this post:

maybe some of us dont have a IrDA device, having only a BT adapter....

i hope that the developer of QFileMan with integrate (future? perhaps?) an extra option in the drop down menu. i.e. Beam As (Infrared / Bluetooth).
