I think an upgrade is long overdue. We still have phpBB version 2.0.3 and to be honest...we are way behind.

Look at this....which is an old exploit that is flowing around that could be dangerous. It basically deletes all private messages on the MySQL server. Tested and works. The only solution.....upgrade to 2.0.4. I recently noticed all similar forum sites upgrading....I know you must be busy right now with the expo ans stuff....but I just want to bring this to your attention.

One question to ask about setting up a phpbb forum.. in order to have the function of uploading attachments, i need a addon call "attach_mod_v237" and must enable the FTP server right??
you can use ftp to upload but it isn't needed. The attachments can jsut be saved on your current server.
i had try and follow thur all the instruction given by the patch file. In the admin control pannel, when i click on the setting for attachment, it have errors and also in the "Post a msg", i did not see the option to add attachment files.... please help...
You have a step by step (image) for installation? Or did i left out some steps...
