Can exe developed for Symbian 6.1 be run on Symbian 7.0

I am just curious to know if executable developed for Symbian 6.1 be ported over to Symbian 7 easily. That excludes the UI portion.

It's not a huge job to port across - Most of the stuff you would need to change would be the GUI specific classes for each phone (Avkon) - The rest of it may need a little tweaking.
