Anybody else on Orange with a P800 having text messages not arrive?
Friends on other networks have sent me text messages and they've had delivery confirmations yet no message arrives on my phone. Then the following day they'll try the same and that one arrives!!!
There's no way of knowing how many texts I may have lost??? I run Handy Day all the time, maybe this can affect the rest of the phones business???
Also, has anyone managed to either send or receive a MMS to a Vodafone live Sharp phone from their Orange P800??? I've sent and they've not received and I've received one with an attached file (a small photo) but the P800 can't open it! When I go into the message there is a receive button which doesn't receive anything.
Isn't all this cross-network messaging suposed to be fixed in the UK now?
Missing SMS and MMS going AWAL....
Try re-powering your phone.
This happened to me when I arrived back in the UK and switched straight from "Flight mode" to "Phone mode" without turning the phone off.
Soon as I restarted, all the messages downloaded in one go.

I did try that, and yesterdays texts still didn't come through!
Todays are fine again but one sent yesterday is still missing.
When I spoke to Vodafone over my re-powering issue, they did explicitly ask about Orange... I suspect that there is a known problem going on :-?

It goes back to what we were speaking about in the other thread. Obs there is a flaw in the Orange network that vodafone are aware of.....
