Adding Recipient To SMS Problem

5 replies · 2,055 views · Started 28 April 2003

when i write a message and then go to add the recipient i just get the groups, as i have groups i have peoples home/mobile etc in one group, so if i add the group it will try to send it to the home and any other addressess aswell, is there a way i can just select a mobile number without removing people from groups?

When in 'groups' view you should be able to toggle the joypad left and right and toggle between 'contacts' view and 'groups' view

Best 😊

sorry, by saying groups you got the wrong idea. it isnt actually a group, i dont know the exact name for it but when u create a contact, you can add more than one person or number to it :S if you know what i mean

Oh I see, you mean you have one entry for John Bloggs which includes his home number, mobile number, fax numbe,r e-mail address, work phone number etc all in one contact.
Thats how I have mine too.

In that case once you have selected the contact and hit 'ok' it will then pop them up on screen and ask you to select one of them 😊

The only disadvatage to this making your contacts like this is that you can only add a voice tagg to ONE number per contact.. but I don't use voice taggs

My neither, it's a waste of space and pretty useless for me. 😃
