MPEG-4 Simple @ L1 / L3

Hi.
I've used mpeg4ip creating some .mp4 files so that I can watch them on my SonyEricsson p800, but somehow this doesn't work. I've tried with some .mp4 files i downloaded from the net and they worked - also did some that i created in mpegable. The reason i need to use mpeg4ip is that i'm making a script so that it can happen automatically... Any other way to do this?

Well anyway: here are the info on two of the files - the upper one working, the second don't. (They work with mplayer though, but not on the phone). Anyone have a clue how I can get my gsi.mp4 to MPEG-4 Simple @ L1 at 0 kbps as well?

mp4info k:\matrix2.mp4
mp4info version 0.9.8
k:\matrix2.mp4:
Track Type Info
1 video MPEG-4 Simple @ L1, 78.541 secs, 0 kbps, 160x72 @ 18.18 fps
2 audio MPEG-4, 78.483 secs, 0 kbps, 22050 Hz
3 od Object Descriptors
4 scene BIFS

K:\MP4>mp4info k:\gsi.mp4
mp4info version 0.9.8
k:\gsi.mp4:
Track Type Info
1 video MPEG-4 Simple @ L3, 24.200 secs, 229 kbps, 160x72 @ 25.00 fps
2 od Object Descriptors
3 scene BIFS

Hope someone may help me a little.... Thanx

Bunger,
I've got somewhat the same problems, none of the streams are true L1 but L3 and sofar I've had no luck generating L1.. I've got streams thare are within the L1 specs but not L3.. more like very small L3 streams 😉

One pointer might be that the second clip might need a bit less bitrate and framerate as L1 specs says something along the lines of what ericsson say
.
Anoter thing is grab the tool mpeg mp4UI, the gui makes things a bit faster. http://www.mediacruiser.de/mp4UI/

Whats most irritating is that the P8 will prol support low specs L3 once we have a good player... so all that mpegable crap will be for nothing then
