Anyone having problems sending mms on Orange UK

Based on other threads herein, there appear to have been ongoing problems with Orange messaging over the last few weeks; certainly Vodafone indicated there was a problem to me over the phone, but others also have problems. 😞

The new "3" service is the same company, and I wonder if resources are being diverted to get "3" working to the detriment of the normal Orange service?

The '3' service isn't the same company as Orange.
'3' is owned by the same company who originally set Orange up (and then sold it to France).
'3' are also going to use one of the other networks, O2 or t-Mobile??? to carry their 2G calls.

So, '3' shouldn't affect Orange at all.

Oh, I thought Hutchinson still had big stakes in Orange?

Yup, I am having the same problems with Orange and MMS for the last two days! Previous to this sending MMS was a breeze.

Phoning Orange to ask what's the problem will as usual get a great deal of pish excuses and no conclusive answer...oh well, as they say, what doesn't kill you f**ks with your mind :roll:

Mine seems to be working, although a couple have gone and not arived with pics. 3 will be using t mobie for 2g calls, got a nec606 in at work, when you scan the box and choose a tarriff it comes up with a hutch and tmob 😃
