My lates issues include:

1) when sinchronising with outlook calendar the phone will not pick up any repeating birthdays I inputed on outlook but it will pick up oultook existing repeating events such as Mothers Day - How annoying!

2) no field mapping with oulook - e.g categories for contacts, etc and limited fields

3) no sychrnonisation with outlook sub folders - real bummer

4) cannot record conversation when one is on the phone - thats what I wnt the recorder for so I can record a conversation on the phone!

5) no predictive text messaging - very necessary as I always want to message with one hand - dont want to use the pen when I drive etc

I'll post more as I find them - please post any remedies or third party software - hopefully the designers and developers will get it close to perfect on the next version / upgrade - I wonder sometime though - they could have just picked up a palm or MS system and checked out the basic funtions!

I echo the thoughts of the last poster, I hope you don't drive in Yorkshire!

If you do text while you're driving, you probably won't have to worry about it for too much longer...

Well he could mean while sitting in the passenger seat (That classifies as driving- or not??!!)

It's kinda annoying to write with the pen while the car is moving and going over some bumps... :-?

I don't think T9 would solve this anyway, as you can't physically feel the buttons (with the flip off anyway) and so you'd still need to concentrate a lot.

From the point of view of recording conversations - doesnt this raise a number of legal issues, you cannot legally record conversations without notifying the other party - I dont think. Perhaps SE trying to avoid any future headaches? Maybe!!

I seem to remember that was the general concensus as to why it had been effectively removed since the T68i, yup.

Nothing to stop someone writing an application to do it, of course, as long as the API's are in place to record both speaker output and mic input.
