how can i erase programs from my smart media chip? i have the 3650... and how can i erase programs from the mobile phone memory

You go to Manager and you highlight the program you want to install, then select remove. That applies to programs in both the phone memory and MMC (it's Multi Media Card, not Smart Media 😉)
