Put midi onto Nokia 3650

you can download midis and beam it to your phone using IR or Bluetooth... I think you can also use an MMC reader/writer to transfer files. And yes, you can use midis for your ringing tones.

Just go to profiles and select the desired profile and then costumize it...

Select your midi from the list under ringtone or what ever it's named the first option.

don't know if its just me...but i uploaded ringtones once and they weren't available in my profile until i rebooted my fone (shut it off and turn it back on). either that or im just blind and didnt see it in the ringtone list when i was lookin for it the first few times

use Infrared or Bluetooth. if you don't have PC Suite and you just have a file on pc you want to beam, then just right click on it and if there's an IR device on your PC, you should get an option that says "send to nearby computer" or something. If you're using BT, then right click also and then there's a bluetooth option. Hard to explain. Have you installed any of these devices???

Hi st@rr, you are great but I still have difficulties putting midi onto Nokia 3650. I'm have 3650 pc suite (ver 1.0.0) & able to transfer pic between phone & pc & SIS installation using IR . Using PC suite, i can see everything in the phone memory but not the midi files

Hmm... sorry can't help with that 😊 I don't use PC Suite... I just beam my midi files directly to my phone and save it to the recorder. Maybe somebody can answer your question. 😉

Alright, if you send via IR without PCSUITE, you get it as a message, whereas you open it, and save (you can't save it if your message settings are set to use MMC card instead of phone memory, cause it's already in the MMC! Why save it? :-?) in order to see them in the profile list, you have to put them in this file (i guess, well that's what i did after i couldn't see them anways) i made a file in system (or was it nokia?), and i made another file sounds and i put the midis there. So i can see them when selecting ringtone. You need a file manager for this.

As for using PC suite, they get beamed to your MMC right away. You can see them alright, cause everything on your MMC is visible when using PC suite. So make the necessary directory (if necessary, someone correct me if i'm wrong, i've been away from my 3650 for some time now! :cry😊 and viola! Hope it works 😃

I find the regular send to another computer a faster process, but when sending movies and large stuff, pc suite is good cause it's right away to the MMC

Anyway, yeah... I beam it and receive the file as a message then I open the file and save it. It automatically saves in the recorder. Then you can see the file now at the profile's ringing tone 😊 that's it!
