MP3 Audio headset adapter

Just saw this:

http://www.pc-mobile.net/sp8aa.htm

But not available until May 9.

Pretty cool!!! But now I would like to see something where I can put in my own microphone as well!! Has some advantages for using it with your stereo or in your car.

Aha, just what I was looking for.

Now I've got my 128MB Duo (at last) I can use my P800 as an MP3 player but the earphones aren't much use at reproducing bass notes (obviously) and I have a nice pair of Sennheiser headphones that I would like to try with it.

Thanks for drawing my attention to it.
I just bought this adapter today. works like a charm
how could u have bought it when its not out till may 9?

@Brimme: Where did you get the jack converter? I cant seem to find it in any of the electronice shops here. I was able to find a DYI one where you have to put the wire yourself but it only had 2 rings 😞 Is there a specific name for it?

it is very hard to find a good set of 2.5mm headphones with a microphone. I assume poeple are unhappy with the headphones supplied due to short lead between the earpiece?
My solution for those who has the money 😊

Ill definitely get this when it hits the market. Hope the headphones use a 3.5mm jack

cheers

Brimme, where did you get your adapter from? I'd like on too, but mainly for listening to music, not as an alternative to the earpiece/mic combo the P800 comes with.

I doubt I will get the MP3 player, but the headset adaptor looks promising, really.. Although a BT Stereo headset would be absolutely perfect! 😊

I just went to my local electronicsshop and talked to the mechanic there and ask if he had something but he said not in stock but i can look if i can order it and the next day i had it. so a normal electronicsshop that can order spare parts should be able to order it. it a 2.5 to 3.5 mm adapter

It is no problem to get a 3pole adapter from 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm, every electronic firm has that. The kick is to get a 4pole adapter with a microphone..
I will order one the 9 of may.
:halfrobot:

I cann't even get to their source CCNOW to order it...
I get the message:
Shoppers: Your browser program or your firewall security system may be set to "Disable Referrer Logging". If referrer logging is disabled, CCNow cannot track the source of your order.
I don't have enabled anyting like that.

Thats helpful.. =.= I'm really wondering if its worth it, or not. I can't afford to waste my very limited money..

Really? That old gameboy lookalike phone had it? I didnt look for that.. Oh well, I ordered it already so theres no use fussing about it 😊

Well, post some photos and tell us how it is when you got it ok? I wanna see if its good or not before I order.. 😊

I was a bit disappointed to discover the SonyEricsson BT in car kit won't carry MP3's off a P800 to a car stereo. On initial observation it looked like the ideal bridge.

Why didn't they build what looks to be a fairly simple additional feature in? Is BT too slow to carry good quality music?

Sure 😊 Ill make sure to do that 😊

Finally it's here and it sounds good with my Koss headset! 😊 The packaging wasn't that good though... it came in a plastic rectangle case with a cover that won't permanently lock. The retractable baby plug adapter (for stereo) didn't even come in a case... it only came in a small plastic ziplock bag.

Hey, it works! All good for $15! 😊

Ugh. Your pictures are blur.. Never mind, is the design nice? Or looks bad? 😃 You sound like the quality is very good, so I supposed it is.
