MMS problem is because of the P800 and not the network?

A lot of people have been having problem with their MMS. So have I. Could this be because of the P800 and not of the network? I have tested this together with my GF's 3650.. Sometimes I get an error, but when I send the exact same message on her phone together with mine, It sends ok on hers but gives an error on mine.. Hope the upgrade will solve this..
At first I thought it was because of the size of the pic or audio attachments, but it wasnt.. It just wouldnt send.. sometimes it stops at 11% sometimes @94% then it just gives you this error message..

Sometimes it does stop at %94 :-?
When trying to send again it works

My phone is R2D by the way :-?

I still can't get mine to work after it stopped working last week. I have been on to Orange and they have tried everything with me from deleting every wap / gprs connection and starting again and I still get the fail at 94% :bad-words:

They did say that their UK? MMS / WAP service went down on Tuesday last week and they had big problems getting it back up for the Wednesday? I just wonder if this has caused some kind of problem? Otherwise I would have to agree that it could be the phone!

Cheers

I am on T-Mobile in the US and am having exactly the same problem, first at 94% then at 33% - error message reads "communication error with the proxy". T-Mobile has been great at trying to solve this problem, but no success. Putting the SIM into another MMS-capable phone resulted in a good send. It's got to be the P800.

My MMS messages failed at 94%.
Have my numbers saved with an - between area code and phone number.
Solved it by deleting the -
XXX-XXXXXXX =error at 94%
XXXXXXXXXX =message accepted

Mine didnt have a dash but stilll failed 😞 Could this be a phone Bug? Mind did have a space though like.. +63 XXXXXXXXXX

But I sent it again and it sent normally. This is definitely a phone bug 😞

I had this problem when sending using Vodafone - it was because the messages were over 30Kb. Vodafone have this as a limit - seems pretty low to me :x , but I'm now OK sending anything lower.

I had the same problem, got to 94% and failed. I took the - and () out of the recipient's address and it worked..

this is definately a bug. :bad-words:
