it seems so tight, i get the top bit forward but dont like pulling anymore it feels as though it will break?
what is the way to do it, its not in the manual?

Once you have the top loose press on the sides(gently) on the handset(not the cover) @ around 1/2 way down the screen. Once you free up the sides it should come off easily.
