Copying my contacts from 7650 -> 8310

Ok, well, I am getting rid of my 7650 to buy a new 8910i, but now I am wondering.

How can I get my phone numbers of my 7650 on an old 8310 (temporary phone) I got. The 8310 and the 7650 both have infrared, but I cant seem to send the contacts through IR, I can send them as an email to myself, but that doesn't put them on my 8310, because that one can't retreive mail messages.

Can anyone please help ?

this is just a suggestion but i know this should work

first of all save all the contacts to sim in the 7650, go to

CONTACTS---> then open a contact card and then selct

OPTIONS--->COPY TO SIM DIRECT

and jus do the opposite to copy to the 8910i

hope it helps 😉

Well the problem is, my contacts use multiple numbers under one name.

So when I try to copy the contact to the SIM it says it cannot copy 😞.

For copying my contacts from my 7650 to my new 8910i isn't too hard.. I got all the contacts in outlook, so I can put them online as files (*.vcf) and download them via GPRS.
