Friday night 11pm, several beers gone and me trying to use my phone, next thing i know my poor P800 is lying face down on the floor :-? - the screen is now doing something very odd, like when your tv isnt tuned properly 😞 - not good.
What im wanting to know is if anyone has damaged their P800 and had it replaced by Orange under Orange Care?, or am i in trouble cause i broke it myself?

Orange Care covers everything from theft to accidental damage (by yourself or anyone else). Just give them a call.
A mate of mine had his replaced because he claimed it wasn't ringing when he tried dialling people. In actuality I think he scratched the display slightly.

Just don't tell them that bit.. I bet there's a getout clause in there for 'negligence', and they usually count being drunk as a skunk and trying to use your phone as negligence 😉 (At least, there is in my insurance contract)

Yep, and I wouldn't tell them the accident happened in a pub! Just tell them you went for a curry and the waitress knocked it on the floor.... 8)

I told them that the phone vibrated itself off the table whilst someone was calling me - new phone arrived the next day

Thats funny, thats exactly what i said once for my nokia 3310 two years ago! Got a brand new one! They must think "yeah right, whatever" when they hear that excuse over and over again!
Few years back we used to have pager races in the bar, where you tilt the table just a little, then phone the group code for all the pagers (only works if you are in the same team).
The winner was the one whose pager fell off the far end of the table first!
