If you can see this you are already part of the reviews or admin teams (unless I have made a mistake on permissions or something).
This forum is intended for the information about reviews for AAS. You can post questions / opinions etc here about anything to do with reviews.
In this forum the reviews editors and others will post details of software that has been made available for review by its authors. You should not feel limited to reviewing this software only. The software listed is that which has been offered for review. If you would like to review software listed please reply to the topic. For now please restrict yourself to one or two reviews at a time. If you've already written some reviews this recommendation is more flexible 😉 I want to ensure that some reviews do get written you know 8)! Please note you'll probably need to provide your IMEI code.
Each post has details of a contact, this is the person who will arrange the copy to get sent to you. To start with this is likely to be me in a lot of cases, this will hopeuflly chnage over time to the reviewes editor.
If you are interested in reviewing something not listed here please post a new topic about it (title Want to Review: xxx), and an admin will try and sort something out (no guarantees on sucess or time!).
In the next few weeks we'll be sorting out a slightly more formal process, but essentially if you want to do a review it shouldn't be a problem.
I'm introducing two reviews editors / senior writers (or overseers what ever you prefer 😉). These are Richard (aka TankerX) and Steve Licthfield. I'll leave them to introduce themselves. Their job (although it is still being discussed) is ensuring a consistent style and flow of reviews. The main contact point will be e-mail and this forum. For generic questions this forum is good as it means eveyone can contribute.
This topic will be a central place for how to information for the time being. I'll be adding more information (e-mail addresses for contacts, hot to post, etc.). Please bear with em while the review section sorts itself out and we get thing set up.
