New version of Smart Launcher (v1.01) !!!

Nice! All I'd like now is to have bigger icons and lose the labels!

I'd like to be able to skin the main stand-by screen with a full-screen application (unlike Active Desk which is good, but is not full-screen).

Maybe putting a message waiting and missed call symbol on Launcher will make it even more appealing?

Does anyone have a full version of this, because it seems that the version on offer @ Symbianware.com is a 15 day trial version?

I have the Full Version (registered by my IMEI)

I installed the new 1.01 over the old version and still registered...
so it's an upgrade...

if you get only Trial version it's because may be you have a previews old trial version installed or a cracked one 😉

well i have some suggestion for the next version... for smart launcher or skin editor, i dont know which app is capable of...

1. Yes/No on battery
2. Yes/No on Signal bar
3. Yes/No bold on Title
4. Yes/No bold on Label
5. Yes/No bold on Button
6. Yes/No bold on Text in TaskMan
7. and maybe italic for Title, Label and Button?

on 1 & 2 some people like me dont like this one on the top,i like the first release with nothing on top

3-6 well... bold i think is too much for the icons... espcially the programs with a long name...

7 just a suggestion if you can me it, well maybe it is an additon 😃

and what is new on the newest skin editor???

when i download the skin editor, it is only the 1.0 version even though it says 1.01 just before i donwload it (this is on symbiaware)

I purchased sLauncer a few weeks back and loved the way it spruced up the menu. I haven't got round 2 trying my hand at my own skins yet, but some of the efforts posted here & on Symbianware's site r damn cool. My favourite at the moment is StiWulf's skin.

Anyway, downloaded the v1.01 upgrade the other day, and since then I've encountered a little problem. :x
sLauncher seems 2 lock up the phone now. I have my auto-lock set on 4 security reasons and when I unlock it, then press the menu button, nothing happens. Most of the time this is rectified by holding the menu button down, which brings up a list of all running apps, then killing sLauncher and then it restarts with no problems. Sometimes it requires me 2 reboot the whole phone.

Has any1 else encountered this ? It never happened on v1.0 so I'm wondering if there's a bug in the upgrade ? It's a fully registered version, all paid up in full, so it can't b that. I reformatted the phone the other nite, and clean installed everything again, but the problem still persists.

All suggestions welcome 😊

I get exactly the same problem with the new version also.
One minute it's fine, then you leave it a while, go to enter the system and the desktop if you like will not come up.
Pressing and holding the menu button for me brings up the running apps, but then everytime I've gone to close Smart Launcher it makes the phone hang.
I thought I maybe alone with this problem but it seems others are getting it to.
Again Version 1.0 didn't have any problems. Any ideas?

I think I might've found a resolution, but it's a little 2 soon 2 say. I just upgraded skin editor 2 version 1.01 and everything seems stable........so far anyway 😃

I've already got version 1.01 or Skin Editor installed and that still gives me the problem.
I just reinstalled Smart Launcher again today and so far I haven't had the problem yet. Whether it has something to do with a program I have installed or in a certain scenario the menu doesn't like it I don't know.
Keep us posted what you find, I'm sure it's something silly.

I very need in sLauncher

-FONT SIZE SETTINGS (this fonts at icont text is very big)
-ICONS ON TOP PANEL (etc. BT connection icon, Headset icon, Alarm icon eto...)

and when will have next version this things, i will buy it. :angel: :angel:

The latest on the problem with sLauncher v1.01 !

I emailed Symbianware's tech support, explaining the "hanging" issue and I got a response this evening with v1.02 attached 😃

I have now installed this and everything seems fine.

It has not appeared on their website yet, but I am sure it will soon.

That is your opinion Jesal,mine is that sLauncher provides a great level of costumization,never had problems with it and its great for showing off 😊

a tip!... if you have installed (see on Manager App)
a component called LM ... you can delete that and save 97kb 😃

i don�t know why Launcher installed that on earlier versions, but
now you can deleted and nothing happend...
