Got a lovely (genuine Japanese) memory stick 128MB duo from the friendly folks in Singapore this morning - and now I can finally use my mobile the way I always wanted it to.
It can be a
a) mp3 player
b) video player
c) document storage device
d) phone? 😉
e) PDA
The possibilities are endless.....
Now I'm really starting to enjoy my P800 - happy days are here!
If only someone will do something about gaming/emus controls :roll:
I got my 128 MB Duo about a week ago and I'm well chuffed with it.
I've currently got a CD and a half (of Scarlatti), three Simpsons episodes and loads of games, plus all the applications I can afford (not that many).
I can now play Doom all the way through on the train on the way to work - excellent.
I'd like a joystick too. That's next on my wish list.
I felt exactly the same way when my 128 Duo arrived 3 weeks ago. Now i am thinking of getting another one. My wishlist is to have Sony come up with a bigger memory Duo 😊

Once the sales of the 128 slow, the 256 will come out.. when the sales of that slow, the 512...

If thats the case then i guess we all will have to wait for a long long time. The 128 Stick is backlogged almost everywhere 😞
my digi-camera takes the new 1gb mem stick pro which i have on order so i'm thinking about that fat battery cover type thing for the P800 but will the P800 b able to handle it?

Sorry the MS Pro is a completely different kettle of fish, won't work with the P800 or most normal memory stick devices for that matter!

I agree,normal memory sticks might work though,with that memory stick jacket.Is that released yet?

Besides, the firmware of the P800 won't take cards, bigger than 128MB. Perhaps that will change in the future, but for now, you're out of luck.
hmm, so i'm still gonna have to get a 128 duo, oh well i'd best find my 3 songs i'm comfy with for my 16meg card till then.

I thought about the 'jacket' for my p800, but it makes a big phone enormous!! People might just think you're carrying around a satellite phone!!
But, to be honest, memory stick duo 128Mb just rock my socks off. I've copied a whole CD onto it + an episode of the Simpsons - and it still has 49MB left....
