It usually means axactly what it says i'm afraid. 😞
Your best bet is to take it to a local NSC so they can repair it,i dont think that a hard reset can fix things in this stage.Hold on for a while, maybe someone will come up with an idea.
All the best.
well i got that same message because my extended profiles messes up a bit and my background will stop rotating, i switch it off and on again and once i got that message, i just switched it back on again and it worked fine but maybe mine was a special case :-?
i had this a couple of times.. try to hold the abc-button pressed when you start the phone. most times this works for me..
or try to type in your pin as usual.. sometimes you can do that even if you cant see it because the errormessage is is front of the input-box...
if everything fails, you probably will have to visit a nsc 😞
good luck, tias
my phone fell down this week from bot 4 feet, the batt. cover and the batt came out and i started again it shows me this mess. i dint know wht to do i removed the batt and the sim once left it aside for bot a min and put it all back again and started it back. it did boot up with no problems as of yet. dunno wht the exact problem was but i think it had something to do with launcher 1.0 for sure.
I recommend you to do a serious FW upgrade. Even if *#7370# works. It's a shame to have such a cool phone with such a big flaw. 😊

Talk about a 3650
My 7650 still works like a diamond! But the 3650 has to get that screen on, hopefully on saturday it'll be fixed 😃
I didn't thought of that one, like tias said, try holding the abc button which skips/forces the boot procedure.
thanks all for your help. tried the abc thing and to reset it but still no luck. i took it to the nokia repair centre in the back of TOMO in nottingham and there were little help. looks like im gonna have to take it to nsc. 😞

i have had this problem "APP. CLOSED START-UP". I couldn't access the menu button. it so sad that i hav had to reset the phone now i'm starting all over again. Word of advice don't play with file explorer, file manager, seleq programs if you don't know what you're doing.

TOMO are rather unreliable nowadays - did they quote you something stupid lke 5 hours? Go to Carphone Warehouse just down the road, they do it in 2 hours - and it works.
What do you mean 'you'll have to take it to nsc'? TOMO is the registered NSC. CPW are not registered NSCs, but they are more reliable.
Tomo said it wuldnt flash and that was all they could try. So i took it to CRC in sandiacre. Tomo probably could have fixed it but because i work for Phones 4 u they probably didnt bother tryin. Ill try cpw next time. thanx.
