Using laptop to browse internet via bluetooth/p800/gprs - ??

Hi there

i've not had the p800 long but am having difficulty configuring my laptop to browse the internet using the p800 as a modem. i would prefer to do this via a bluetooth link.

I've seen mention of using 'cable' set to 'modem' on the p800 but can't even get this to work using the cradle.

Any ideas?

thanks

droolian

p.s. i can browse easily with the p800 with the default browser, but would just like to use the p800 as a gprs modem.

Now here is something I havent gotten to work also 😞 Its because we cant get a straight com port connection 😞 But It doesnt work even with IR. I had this working before with the T68i..

I've never tried this through the cradle, but it does work through IR. To do this, you need to make sure you have a vitual infrared port installed. The software for these can be downloaded.

Problems still occur though as other software, such as Palm, can lock up the VIR port
