Forgive me if this subject has been covered before but I am a bit of a newbie to this site. does anyone know if there is a way of saving messages and videos from the 7650 to the pc?

You can send them using a file manager trough bluetooth,infrared,e-mail.
For archiving SMS messages to PC,search the forum,there is an app just for that purpose,cant remeber its name right now.
For mor information, the program is called MESSAGE SAVER. 😊 I have it and it works. The thing is it doesn't really save the messages, it writes a .txt with all the message details and body and then sends it to the PC. I thinks it's not what ppl is looking for. I'd like something more like a backup thing, that you can upload then the messages to anyother S60 phone.
Any developer reading this?.... 😃

Like i said,you can just sent them to your PC trough BT or IR assuming that you have BT or IR using a file manager.There are many try chose form,try browsing the software section.
I agree deathmonger,MESSAGE SAVER is not what i had in mind.
you guys are so lucky. since the begining ive never been able to send anything from phone to pc, ive just given up on it. 😞
the blumanager software is useless to me cos' i havent got the paswork to open the zip file and the registry tweaking doesnt work. 😞

i can now after 8 month peform file transfers from phone to pc. makes me sad to think of how many movies and .amr clips i deleted cos' i couldnt transfer.

lol!!! bluemanger soft, i was given, needed password,did not nave password, then billionton soft, but billionton was gonna remove my existing drivers, novice i was got scared and dint go ahead with installation. ask later again, and told registry method was best, didnt work, lost hope and gave up. got billionton soft again, this time brave to take chance and rest is history. 😊

I search sth like the MESSAGE SAVER on myself. But it should be freeware, because i don't have so much money 😞.
the Software should save all Messages to a file (perhaps with free formable filespecifications: sender - number - time - date - ...)
