Remote Sync Server? Will it get around Mac OS X probs

Hi,

I notice there is an remote sync capability using http, As Mac OS X iSync does not support it and I cannot get VPC to work with teh cradle I wondered if it was possible to use remote sync.

Are there any web sites offering a service that could act as a halfway house i.e. sync Mac your calendar and contacts with the website and then sync your P800 with the website. Is this a no hoper? I would assume the method could appeal to both Windows and Mac users.

While searching for something like the above a came acroos the work of
Nicolas Bougues at http://nicolas.bougues.net/syncml/ which is a php syncml server.

I am in no way connected with thim, but will try it on the MAc to see if it works.
