I went to Sonyericsson today and discuss with them about setting up a club for all P802/P800 user in Shanghai. At the moment I'm gathering the customer list from them and soon we (me and sonyericsson Shanghai) will organise the first meeting in their office hopefully by end of this month.
I would like to invite all user of P802 or P800 staying in Shanghai to join us. so please do send me a email with your name, mobile number and e-mail so I can organise this speacial event.
This first meeting is important so that we can form a support group in Shanghai, hopefully soon in Beijing.

Here's a suggestion. How about a videoconference / IRC chat type gathering for those that can not make it.. I think Shanghai is the last place of destination for many travelers around the world. I had booked a ticket for the 23rd of November, but with the health issues (SARS) I'm not sure if that will stick on my agenda. With that said, a multimedia conference would allow several members on this forum and others alike to participate. Especially being that the very existence of this forum show that we obviously have the greater interest in SE products.
not sure wherether we can get a video/phone conferencing, still discussing about a place in their office.
The management of SonyEricsson have allow us to use the facility during Saturday or sunday and have one of his technician as standby during all club meeting. I hope this will turn up well and we can meet each other soon.
I'll be working on a website with them speacially for the club, and hopefully we can provide valueable support to all

The IRC bit could work... I've done some conferences like that before and they've been successful.. Maybe create a channel on IRC or something and allow users to ask questions in real time. Or even a webcam would work. This option doesn't have to be the focus of the meet, but rather someone can take questions or suggestions from the users...

Since we will be having a kickoff meeting with Shanghai Xun Wang soon to discuss the agenda of our first meeting, here is an opportunity to raise your requests on what is important to you. Please submit your questions and requests here before this Friday (16th of May); we will try our best to raise all issues with Xun Wang.
Following is the initial agenda for the first Club Meeting
� Registration of membership.
� To confirm the frequency of meeting whether we should have it on weekly or twice a month.
� Meeting place is currently confirmed at the service center on YongJia Road, Shanghai.
� Will discuss the official sponsorship from SonyEricsson and Xun Wang Shanghai.
� To discuss methods to provide a better technical service to the user in China.
� Possibility to hold a workshop for all P800/802 users in China.
