Does anyone know how I can contact SE about fixing their damn PC Suite so it doesn't cause Outlook to ask for permission for the synchronization program to access the Contacts?
It can be done as ActiveSync (the Pocket PC software) can synchronize with Outlook without the security dialog and from doing a search on Google so can most other synchronization programs.
For me this is probably the most annoying thing about the PC Suite (apart from the fact that it's slow and consumes a lot of memory).

The 9210i software has this as well.
I dont find it that bad, but would be nice to get rid of if.
is there any other software for outlook sync? i used to use the chapura for palm and it was great... just something that will have categories for contacts etc.
the security dialogue is a feature of outlook not pc suite
True, it is part of Outlook BUT there are ways to synchronize without the dialog box popping up as other synchronization utilties can do it e.g. ActiveSync and the 9210i software (as described above).
The PC Suite should too. Just sloppiness on SE's part.

I don't know if we're talking about the same thing here but...
I don't get asked any questions when I sync, but I get 4 "you don't have permission" messages when syncing, but I think its from the Calendar (haven't tried just the contacts, and I don't sync the messages)
heres a fix for you :

😃 😉
That's not really a fix as it allows virus, etc. to circumvent the security too.
There is a legitimate way to program to avoid the security dialog and the PC Suite should be written to use that.
