I think I got my phone to number mode!!! I cannot seem to type any characters... only numbers! I don't know how to undo it. I already pressed the # sign when I go to messages but nothing happens! Also, in messages, when I press the pencil button in the keypad (which would normally pop up and has options like Dictionary, number mode, etc), nothing happens! Is my cellphone busted? Please help me... I cannot text anyone anymore! 😞

hard reset your phone by code, ito worked for me...
But you still have to install everything again...

You don't always have to hard reset.
Just reinstall wildskins - reboot - switch off wildskins - reboot - make sure wildskins is really off, then you are safe to uninstall it.
You should be working again..

I have already uninstalled all my programs including wildskinz! Now, maybe that caused the problem!!! Anyway, how can I hard reset my phone? Coz I tried rebooting it already and nothing happened... still cannot write characters! 😞
What the F*CK!!! Now my phone won't boot anymore! Because of my problem I stated earlier, what I did was backup my files in the PC SUITE then I did a hard reset on my phone... everything was working fine. THen I Restored my files from the PC SUITE to my cellphone and I turned off my phone to restart... now, I cannot even BOOT!!! All I can see is the NOKIA logo which appears and disappears for like 3 times and then my phone just dies... GRRRR!!! Does anybody know how to hard reset through hardware? coz I cannot get in the OS to type the code for hard reset!

When that happens, you have to take it to an NSC. The NSC's here don't fix that problem though, and so they have to go to Nokia.
Or you could get lucky by using Dazler's "key trick" - sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

I had that problem as well i found that if i plugged the charger in and switched the phone on it booted.
now, just boot it and do a hard reset... then, don't load the backup u had in your pc, cause i think that data has the error... just install everything again...

i believe this has been answered a number of times before.. try searching for the post in which schizo explains how to fix the problem...
never hard reset your phone... it should be the last resort.... i keep on seeing people suggesting hard reset this.. hard reset that... when this happens.. when that happens.... most often than not.. there are other solutions....
your problem is indeed wildskinz.... try searching for schizo's post.. if its not here.. try looking in the nokia free forums its there!
thanks guys! But I cannot do anything with the phone anymore coz It doesn't boot to its OS... so, I cannot type in any code or something. Anyway, I contacted my retailer and maybe just have my software flashed or something... good thing still have a warranty! 😊 Anyway, thanks all for your help!!!
Yeah, flashing the phone will fix it. Also if you're lucky, you'll come back with an even later software version 😉
