HELP..Got a sim upgrade and cant seem to transfer contacts from the phones mem to the new the sim,unless i do them one by one,which would take forever,any ideas?

but the contacts are stored in the phone...not the Sim...do you want to change phones? Or sims?
But what if i need to get a phone service,transfering the sim to another phone would mean no contacts,and if the phone needs a firmware upgrade,that means all memory is lost,could something this simple have been overlooked?

AFAIK... You can only copy contacts from phone to SIM one at a time. I think this is because the phone memory can store multiple entries per contact whereas the sim can only store 1 telephone number per contact. Also bear in mind that the sim will probably be limited to 90 contacts only.

Cheers for that steve,the old sim i had,i put it in the 7650 but was limited to 50 contacts but the upgrade allows 250 but i think i may do them one at a time,strange!
