Strange happenings in Contacts...

Dear all,

Profuse apologies if this is a duplicate query, but I *did* perform a search before posting and it seems that my problem is unique 😃

A couple of days ago I added a new contact to the list and then must have accidentally <cough> selected the wrong options, because now the following are happening:

a) the name, profession and phone number of this latest contact have invaded all my contacts;
b) when I try to delete the one that is causing all the problems I get a message that says "not supported", so no deletion;
c) when I try to manually delete the unnecessary details from my other contacts, they won't stay deleted, but reappear every single time.

Any ideas on how I can resolve this issue without resorting to the backup on my PC? I'm experiencing hardware problems there... 😞

actualy this problem happend to me on my third day using the phone

well i tried 2 things ... one of them must have worked but i am not sure wich one was it so u try both

a) try to restart the mobile 2 or 3 times (by pressing on the power botton for 10 sec )

then try to change ur contacts

b) if it still didnt change 1- close the phone
2- remove the memory stick due
3- start the phone agian
4- insert the memory stick due
5-try to change ur contacts agian i hope this work this time

u can also try step 2 then step 1
